Styled as a Mexican hacienda, the Aventura Spa Palace is set within an 85-acre expanse on the Riviera Maya surrounded by tropical gardens facing the Caribbean Sea. The resort features six restaurants, six bars including a swim-up bar, outdoor Jacuzzis, tennis courts, non-motorized water sports, daily activities programs, theme nights and state of the art spa facilities. The resort is spread along the multi-hued Caribbean, and is dedicated to romance, health, fitness, fun, relaxation, and revitalization. Guests under age of 18 are not permitted. Complimentary shuttles offer daily excursions to Playa del Carmen (12 miles) and Cancún (43 miles). Available only in an All-Inclusive Plan that includes unlimited food and drink and use of all facilities, contemporary guestrooms are equipped for romantic indulgence, with two-person spa tubs, two-person stall showers, and hammocks on view balconies. Divided into north ("relaxing") and south ("activities") sides, the resort includes every imaginable indulgence: vast pools, a saltwater lagoon, an opulent health-and-beauty spa, and a full-service fitness center. 

Swimming in the sea in front of the resort is prohibited, but along the resort's oceanfront are two placid saltwater inlets for swimming, water sports, and snorkeling. The inlets' sandy sides are furnished with lounge chairs and thatched-roof palapas for shade. Two sprawling freeform pools featuring jetted areas offer freshwater swimming. A two-story pavilion houses a heated pool and two spa tubs flank a plunge pool for cooling off. 

A health spa comprises 95 rooms in a central building; in four thatched-roof pavilions above the inlets; and in two couples' palapas. A temazcal (sweat lodge) is also available.  Treatments include massage, body wraps and scrubs, hydrotherapy, facials, and hair and nail care. (Surcharges for all services.) Guests pay surcharges to use the spa's principal women's and men's sections, each featuring scented saunas and steam rooms, jetted footbaths, six-person spa tubs flanking a plunge pool, Swiss showers, and a relaxation lounge. Guests not purchasing a spa service can use the facilities for a $25 fee per day, per person.
