The scenic luxury resort of Wakaya can be found on its own 2,200-acre privately owned island. Set in turquoise coral-ringed waters with an abundance of beautiful palm-studded beaches, Wakaya is a gem among the Fiji Islands. Each cottage suite features a large bedroom with a king-size bed, expansive bath area, and a separate rattan-furnished timber lined living room.

This expansive resort, situated on a five-square-mile island, consists of nine beach bures and includes a nine-hole golf course.The Wakaya Club is the most exclusive resort in the South Pacific. The bures have all the luxurious refinements to satisfy its exclusive clientele. Each features a private deck, living room with wet bar, a bedroom with king bed and a well-appointed bathroom. Each bure also has its own rear garden area. Guests are flown into the island’s private airport by a charter flight that is arranged to meet each client’s schedule. However, the 45-minute flight only operates during daylight hours. Waykaya Club has four chefs and two pastry chefs who create gourmet Fijian, Indian, Chinese and continental cuisine. Meals feature local game, seafood and native fruits and vegetables from the resort’s own organic gardens. Guests have unlimited use of all sporting facilities and equipment, including scuba tanks, golf, tennis, fitness and sea kayaking.

Location: Wakaya is situated in the Koro Sea, due east of Viti Levu, Fiji's main island. This location, so far from the commercial and industrial centers of the world, gives it one of the most pure ecosystems in the world.

Dining: At the the Wakaya Club you may choose the intimacy of a table for two, or the company of friends at a larger table. While many resorts offer a communal table, your privacy is sacred and seating is arranged according to your wishes. 

Weather permitting, breakfast and lunch are served on the deck overlooking the lagoon, in the Palm Grove Restaurant or in your bure, as you wish. Dinner is served in the Palm Grove Restaurant, a majestic structure with its 60-foot cathedral ceiling. 

Picnics
Just imagine this: at your whim, you can be taken to a private and secluded beach where you find everything set for the most romantic picnic on the planet. We leave you and your partner with a picnic basket overflowing with the wines and delicacies of your choice, plus a two way radio to be used when you are ready to beckon us for transport back to the Club. Alternatively we offer group picnic outings for you and your friends.
