Montego Bay, Jamaica, All Inclusive
Located on 5,000 picture-perfect acres in Jamaica's exclusive Rose Hall, the 427-room AAA Five Diamond Hotel offers the seclusion of a beachfront hideaway, complete with a 18-hole championship golf course and full service Spa. Occupying 25 green acres of the former and historic Rose Hall sugar plantation, the hotel offers a variety of water sports and recreational activities, five dining outlets and more than 25,000 square feet of meeting and reception space. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Donald Sangster International Airport, The Ritz-Carlton Golf and Spa Resort brings a new level of luxury to the island nation of Jamaica.

The resort was opened in August 2000, and incorporates contemporary ideas about what constitutes a pleasurable oceanfront family vacation: lots of recreational facilities, a grand pool, a pretty beach, a full-service health spa, varied dining options, supervised children's activities, attentive service, and spacious grounds embracing sky and sea.

The resort features 427 guestrooms including 51 suites, 36 Ritz-Carlton Club Level rooms and suites and one Ritz-Carlton Suite. The fifth floor of the resort is reserved for guests of our Club Level. This floor is accessible by elevator key only and includes a private lounge, personal concierge service and five complimentary food presentations daily. Accommodations include deluxe guestrooms, suites and The Ritz-Carlton Suite.

The resort provides nightly live musical entertainment in all restaurants. In addition, on an open-air stage set up on an expansive lawn between the hotel and the pool, there are complimentary cabaret performances (Fridays) and karaoke shows (Saturdays). Casino nights are held inside on Sundays. Complimentary daytime activities include dance classes, water aerobics, bingo, and coconut and sugar tastings.

Location:  Just 15 minutes from Donald Sangster International Airport and located five minutes from the historical Rose Hall Great House.

Amenities:  Guestrooms feature sea views, six-inch featherbeds, marble bathrooms, and vibrant Caribbean colors. An enormous free-form pool and adjacent spa lie between an expansive lawn and the beach, with cushioned lounge chairs fitted with folding shades and flags to signal for drink/food service arrayed on a stone deck around the pool. Identical lounge chairs offer sunbathing comfort on a crescent beach along the resort's 1,500-foot oceanfront. From the beach, a paving-stone path winds along a rocky shore, offering romantic oceanfront strolls at night illuminated by ankle-high lights that don't interfere with starlight. Nightly in Cohoba's Lounge, a "rummier" offers a rum sampling along with information about rum's history while a pianist or harpist plays in the background.

Activities:  The golf course climbs a mountain, and the health spa offers island treatments. The resort's 8,000-square-foot spa offers complimentary men's and women's saunas, steam rooms, and cool plunge pools as well as a relaxation lounge. Body treatments, hydrotherapy, massage, facials, hair care, and nail care (in heated, vibrating throne chairs) are available for fees. Body treatments include Sugarcane Body Scrub, Island Aloe Cool Wrap, and Allspice Essential Oil Wrap. Hydrotherapy options include Fruit Bath, Blue Mountain herb bath, and Moor Mud Bath. Massage choices include sports, Thai, and heated stones. Facials include Ritz-Carlton's signature facial, hibiscus, and green tea. Couples sessions are available.

Across the road from the hotel and up a green mountainside that was once part of 4,000-acre Rose Hall sugar plantation, the Ritz-Carlton White Witch Golf Course offers 18 holes of championship play featuring a 1,000-foot gain in elevation, rolling hills, and panoramic sea views. Resort guests receive preferred tee times. A practice facility features two tees, two bunkers, and an 11,000-square-foot putting green. Pros offer instruction. (The course's name refers to Annee Palmer, a notorious plantation mistress who is said to have murdered three husbands and a lover, thereby inspiring a popular Jamaican novel The White Witch  of Rose Hall.)

Two complimentary tennis courts are lit for night play. Bocce is complimentary on the central lawn. On the beach are complimentary kayaks, Hobie-Cats, Sunfish, and sailboats. Complimentary shuttle service is available to Rose Hall Beach Club, where there is a restaurant and bar, showers and changing rooms, and numerous water sports and activities, including scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, parasailing, Jet Skiing, and beach volleyball. Also available at the beach club are snorkeling, dinner and sunset cruises, and scuba-diving lessons.
